Step-by-Step Instructions. For Builder Users - Mobile App
- Log into Builder Signal Mobile App
Use your credentials to log into the Builder Signal mobile app. - Select the Home to be Viewed
Click See My Homes. You will see a list of homes that have been assigned by your Builder Admin. Use the Search Home Address feature or scroll to the Home you'd like to view. - Select View Updates
Click the View Updates ("eyeball" icon) to see all Homeowner updates. These are chronologically arranged, with the most recent update at the top of the list. Click View to see the full update the customer sees on their Homeowner website, including address, date of the update, photos/video, building phase and description. - Correcting Errors and Making Edits
Notify a Builder Admin if you see any mistakes or errors (wrong photos, description typos, incorrect building phase, etc.). Only Builder Admins have the necessary permissions to make changes to updates the Homeowner has already received.
Common Issues:
- Photo/Video Upload Not Working?
TBD. Video file size? Image count? etc. Ensure that the app has permission to access your camera or media library. You can check this in your device’s settings. - Update Didn’t Send?
TBD Make sure the homeowner’s email address is correctly linked to the home in the system. If the email is incorrect, the notification won’t go through. If cellular connection is poor and it fails to send, it goes into "Drafts" which can be found at the bottom right of the screen, next to "Account"
Next Steps:
After sending an update, you can view past updates in the home’s timeline. If you need help managing notifications, check out our article: “How to Manage Notifications in Builder Signal”.
