2: Paid Search
Also called Search Engine Marketing (SEM), or Google Ads (formerly Adwords), paid search is the search engine results you pay for. Showing up at the top of organic (non-paid) search results is ideal, but extremely challenging in highly competitive markets (try having your web site show on the first page of results for a customer searching "New Homes for sale in Denver").
